From
my childhood I have always been fond of nature &
animals. In my school days, my grandmother presented
me with a Doberman male named Rio Ravi. He was a constant
companion & a pleasure to be with. With Rio Ravi,
my love & appreciation for dogs started. In the
year 1979, I was again introduced to the beautiful world
of dogs by a friend, then Alban, the Doberman pincher
from Germany, came in to my life. Then came German Shepherd
Ago vom Kirchental from Germany, who won lot of appreciation
& did lot of show winning in India & became
the reserve dog of the year…… Through Ago
I got hooked to the German shepherd for their Beauty
, elegance, intelligence & working abillty . They
are real royal dogs a combination of beauty with brains.
I met a good friend in Germany Mr. Herbert Schwindt
of Blue Iris Kennel . Then my interest developed for
breeding quality shepherds in my country, where the
shepherd quality was not that good at that point of
time. |

Lot
of good females came to my kennel, viz. Doma Blue
Iris, Avlona Blue Iris, Fia Blue Iris, India Blue
Iris, Kayra Blue Irish. In the meantime, I met
and interacted with lot of judges and friends
from Germany.
Then
came Hero vom Haus Mohn from Jochen
Janz (I never knew we would be so close friends
and today, my younger brother), who was absolutely
a beautiful specimen in confirmation and quality
and won the coveted title of Dog of the Year in
the year 1994-95. By; this time, I had got quite
a few dogs in the house. My father suggested that
I should have a farm, where I could take care
of them better and so I bought one and built a
beautiful kennel. Jochen presented me a dog, Joschy
Turntal, bred by Rolf Kaufmann (another person,
whom I very close with) – the day a thin
and normal looking German Shepherd puppy of 11
months landed in India, nobody knew that he is
going to become a great champion, his father was
the great producer Hanno von der Weneurau and
the mother was Zamb weinerau daughter.

He
was a beautiful mover and created a lot of interest
among the people. Then came Uro vom Hambachtal,
the son of German Sieger Visum von Arminius. His
mother was Zamb wenerau’s daughter, who
became champion and won the youth class in Kolkata
National show. Uro gave strength of bone, correct
medium size and spirit. My breeding programme
got into leaps and bounds, when the great producers
Enco came to my kennel and we produced great dogs
and bitches with examplary croupe length and correct
type for me and created the foundation for my
next generation breeding. |

Then
came the great ambassador of the breed Dasty von
der Wenerau from the great kennel bred by the
greatest man ever the GSD world has seen –
Mr. Walter Martin. Dasty was inbred to the all
time great producers viz. Jeck von Noricum and
Zamb von der Wenerau. His mother is direct daughter
of Vanta von der Weneurau. Dasty is now nine years
old, but still loved by everybody in this country,
for his fluid movement and unbundled spirit. Dasty
produced top quality bitches, with super anatomy
and movement, carrying forward the Wenerau type.
Then came the supreme anatomically constructed
Uras von Blue Rose. Great son of Sieger Ursus
von Batu and Zade von Blue Rose – VA. Uras
was inbred to the famous Q litter and was having
alternate bloodline of Mark vom Hausbeck. Uras
brought in the correct size, pigmentation, expression
and the front angles. |

Now,
when I look back, it gives me immense pleasure,
from a humble start. Now, most of German Shepherd
bloodlines in India carry my Kennel lines i.e.
Dogmatix. |

I
am also very much grateful to my friend and elder
brother Mr. A. I. S. Bhinder, for his unconditional
support and cooperation, with whom I co-owned
the Kennel – Sanspri. Under this prefix,
we have bred some great German Shepherds. |

I
am also thankful to Mr. Jochen Janz and others,
who helped me time and again in keeping my spirits
high in my passion of breeding quality German
Shepherd in India. I am thankful to God and my
family and my friends from India Germany and other
countries for achieving and realizing my passion
and love for German Shepherds. Hope, this website
will give some insight into lovely German Shepherds
and moments of emotions and happenings.
